New Shows and First Friday Opening


Jessica van Brakle, Irene Clouthier, and Alice Whealin are all showing in the Cream exhibition at the Katzen Arts Center.

Studio Gallery
Mark Giamo is showing a couple of pieces at the Studio Gallery from 02/03/10- 02/27/10. The opening reception is 02/05/10 from 6 - 8 p.m. The artist's Reception is Saturday, 02/27/10, 4 - 5:30 p.m.

Cream
Jessica van Brakle, Irene Clouthier, and Alice Whealin have been invited to participate in this year's WPA Art Auction, Cream, at AU's katzen Art Center. The show is on display from Saturday, 01/30/10 - Saturday, 03/06/10.

This exhibiton features work by Washington Project for the Arts (WPA) memer artists, as well as national contemporary artisits selected by top curators from some of the most important art institutions in the country. The WPA Curator's Talk is Thursday, 02/25/2010, 6:30- 9 p.m. and the auction is Saturday, 03/06/2010 at 6 p.m.

Reeb Hall Studios Painting and Drawing Session

Where: Reeb Hall Art Studio, 4451 First Place South, Arlington, VA 22204
Time: Weekday afternoons. Other times possible
Dates: Ongoing, as scheduled

Paint or draw very independently with other artists in the common area of Reeb Hall. Artists need to bring all their own supplies and clean up materials. A sink and some table and wall space will be available. Bring push pins to work on the wall. *Note: Independent Painting and Drawing Community Session for Experienced Artists Only
